Why should an attorney have a mobile app & A mobile app website?

Mobile apps for professional services such as attorneys or lawyers are more affordable today than ever before. So, why do they refuse to embrace opportunity? I hear all types of reasons why not to incorporate technology such as; its too expensive, I build my business through referrals, my client’s contact me when they need help, they are not technology savvy (really, i bet they all have a phone); i dont even have a website and do just fine;  Social media and mobile is too confusing, i just prefer to keep it the way it is.  I used someone before to help with social media and it just did not work out.. My partner use to do the marketing, and i have no clue where to start;  My favorite is my nephew, or friends kid is helping us put our marketing and technology in place… You know they get it in 5 seconds flat. Really!  When did technology social or mobile replace having the legal experience or need for a law degree.

Maybe when interviewing attorneys, we should ask who is running the firm, the tech team or partners? I have found that the legal industry is more hesitant than most to adopt the new online technology.  One of the prime reasons is fear, fear of using online technology, social or mobile. Do you realize this is costing you income potential and/or clients?

Websites, social & mobile technology is the means in which you communicate, educate and grow your business.

Today, your clients are looking for you on their mobile device, like it or not.  You should have a mobile app for your client’s convenience.

A few reasons your client’s need you to provide a mobile service.

  • Emergency calls or business disputes
  • The immediate need to take an evidence picture for a potential case, or accident
  • Email to schedule appointments with your firm
  • Hurt in an accident
  • Stopped for DUI or arrested for some reason
  • Need help with a will or trust

What better way to create client loyalty & convenience and more business for your firm.  Your clients will feel safe and protected knowing you are available where ever they go.

The mobile app is easier to use than you think and more importantly your clients are using the technology.  A mobile app website will tell the story and give a place for your clients to learn more about the benefits that your app offers.

If you need someone to teach you that’s the easy part.  The mobile app does the work, all you have to do is give the client a way to download your app.  If you don’t want to tell them put a link on your email, and documents that you are already sending out.  If you can write a letter(from my experience as a business owner that’s never been an issue) we made it as simple as possible to send or receive a messages with drag and drop tools.  If that is too hard, we can do it for you.  I promise! We do not charge attorney rates.

With all that said, its about you doing whats right and giving your clients and potential clients access to you when they need you.  If you don’t they will be looking for a firm that will.

Here is an attorney that is using a mobile website and mobile app to reach client’s.  Nice Job http://www.walterclark.com/.

If you are thinking that this is not for you, or the technology is too complicated, do me a a favor and give me a call. Would enjoy sharing with you how you are losing money today… Don’t fear technology, you should fear not having a solution that clients expect to reach you. Every one has a mobile device.

One case will more than pay for the expense to have a mobile app and mobile app website.

Look forward to hearing your responses… After 20 years of running a business, attorney’s have certainly heard mine

Thanks for letting me share, would enjoying helping, more importantly, I really hope you make the right decision for your clients.
